UNESCO Virtual Museum of stolen culural objects

 

UNESCO has launched the Virtual Museum of Stolen Cultural Objects, the first of its kind worldwide. An immersive digital space that brings together over 240 stolen and missing cultural objects in 2D and 3D from 50+ countries — and the voices of the communities they were taken from.

More than a museum, it’s a tool to:
🔹 Raise awareness about illicit trafficking
🔹 Support stronger protection policies
🔹 Promote provenance research
🔹 Foster cooperation for restitution

Watercolour collage landscape

   After explaining the different watercolour techniques (wet-in-wet, wash, dry brush, rubbing alcohol, salt, scraping, etc.), the students will freely practicepainting with the watercolours.

 
   Once they have a good understanding of all the possibilities that watercolor can create, they will create their own Lanscape:

1. They will paint the DIN A3 paper with the watercolours to represent textured parts of a landscape.
2. Each students will paint between 2-3 sheets of paper. We recomend that they paint one with cold colours and the other one with warm colours.
   
3. They will torn strips of paper to create mountains, sky, lakes, etc.

Composition with circles

 Circle: is a simple shape, a closed plane curve. All points are the same distance from the center. 

1. You will be given a copy with some circles in it. Then, you will draw 10 extra circles wherever you want, and with different radius. It is important that these circles intersect each other.
   
2. Next you will redraw all the circles in black ink (pen) with the help of the adapter and the compass
3. To finish your composition you will have to decide wich parts of the circles go black or white, depending on the one next to it.
