GIF

 To design your own GIF you will draw the 4 sides of your character, then you will take a picture of the drawing, divide the picture in each side of the body and create your GIF (with Canva)

Canva: Open a project video for cell phones, put each part of the body of your character on a different slide and give 0,3 seconds to each movement. Name your project and it will be exported as GIF.

Its important that all the drawings are proportionals. Lines will be drawn so that every part of the body stays at the same level!!! But remenber to erase those lines before outlining your character's lines in black and colouring your design.

Colour Wheel recreations.

We will create a chromatic circle in a creative way.

Each of you will design an image to place the 3 primary colours and their degradations. That means 12 colours in total. First of all a sketch will be drawn and afterwords the final composition will be done on a paper for tempera painting.

If you want to complicate de asignment the students can mix the 12 colours with black and then with withe. This way they will get a painting with 36 colours.

Warm and cold colours and some art masterpieces.

 We have chosen some art masterpieces for you to paint. The one condition is that it only can be painted either with cold o warm colours. 

How do this masterpiece paintings change whe we alter their original colours? Explain your impressions.

Drawing and cutting stars

 Before we can create our stars, we need to learn how draw them  properly.

As you can see, each star is related to a regular polygon.

How to draw: 

1. a 5 pointed star (pentagon)

2. a 6 pointed star (hexagon)

3. a 8 pointed star (octagon)

4. a 12 pointed star (dodecagon)

And now comes the nice part. You will design your own star with cardboard. You have to cut out 4 stars in different sizes, colors and even shape.

Have fun!!!

Use light and shade to create a ball

 Draw different circles in your paper and imagin the light coming from the top or a corner of your paper.... 

... now draw the shades with a pencil, 

or with a color pencils.

   First, the students try all the objects that have
 brough from home and see wich ones work best.

Then, they make they composition with the ones they prefered.

Watercolour collage landscape

Aike

   After explaining the different watercolour techniques (wet-in-wet, wash, dry brush, rubbing alcohol, salt, scraping, etc.), the students will freely practicepainting with the watercolours.

 
   Once they have a good understanding of all the possibilities that watercolor can create, they will create their own Lanscape:

1. They will paint the DIN A3 paper with the watercolours to represent textured parts of a landscape.
2. Each students will paint between 2-3 sheets of paper. We recomend that they paint one with cold colours and the other one with warm colours.
   
3. They will torn strips of paper to create mountains, sky, lakes, etc.
